The Xiaoxi Jia and RouTing projects illuminate how
architectural form language can embody a meticulous
interpretation of sensation through digital craftsmanship,
showcasing a symbiosis of traditional building methods
and digital innovation. The methodology not only ushers
in innovative, locally resonant construction approaches
but also fosters a dynamic workflow, spanning concept,
simulation, iteration, and culmination in construction.

4.4. Results and feedback
On completion, Xiaoxi Jia attracted significant attention,
primarily through extensive media coverage. The project’s
design and construction process, broadcast nationally
through television programs, achieved the highest ratings
in evening variety shows, indicating its popularity among
viewers. It also stimulated lively online discussions.
Conversations and content sharing on social media and
other platforms resulted in over 2 billion views of the
